KIEV, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- Suspected anti-missile system interception sounds were heard in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev on Wednesday morning, and the Ukrainian air force said ballistic missile attacks were detected.
The Kiev City Military Administration said air defense is operating in the city and the region. ■
