NEW YORK, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Izu Islands, Japan region at 21:02:25 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.48 degrees north latitude and 141.85 degrees east longitude. ■
