SEOUL, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's Supreme Court on Thursday sentenced former Justice Minister Cho Kuk, leader of the minor opposition Innovation Party, to two years in prison.

As a result, Cho, who was indicted on charges including corruption in children's entrance exams, lost his parliamentary seat and is scheduled to be imprisoned soon.
