MADRID, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Osasuna's Spain international winger Bryan Zaragoza won't play again until the start of 2025 after breaking a bone in his foot in Monday night's 1-1 draw away to Sevilla.
The club from the region of Navarre informed of Zaragoza's injury in a communique, explaining he had broken the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot, with tests on Tuesday confirming the injury.
"He will return to Pamplona to begin his recovery process," confirmed the press release, without putting an exact date on his return, although it is unlikely he will be able to play until the start of 2025 at best and most probably won't be fully fit until the end of January.
Zaragoza will miss Osasuna's Copa del Rey visit to play Ceuta on Thursday and La Liga games against Alaves, Espanyol and Athletic Club Bilbao before the end of 2024.
The winger, who is on loan from Bayern Munich has impressed this season with one goal and five assists, with his club displays earning him a recall to the Spain national team squad. ■
