BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- A local product expo was launched in Brunei on Thursday, featuring over 200 local companies representing various sectors, local media reported.
According to Borneo Bulletin, the expo serves as a platform for local entrepreneurs and businesses to promote and directly market their products and services to buyers.
Several briefing sessions will be held, focusing on topics such as entrepreneurship, branding and marketing, food and beverage marketing codes, and application guidelines for fishing equipment licenses, the Borneo Bulletin reported.
The launch of the local product expo also marked the start of the 8th Brunei December Festival, a month-long event organized annually by Brunei's Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. ■
