ATHENS, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Hellenic Coast Guard have recovered bodies of eight people after a boat carrying migrants sank off the Greek island of Samos on Monday, the Greek state broadcaster ERT reported.
The victims are six children and two women, according to initial information as a rescue operation was still underway amidst adverse weather conditions.
Three people were rescued from rocks and it was still unclear how many people were on board when the incident happened. ■
