BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Consumer Price Index (CPI) registered a 0.8 percent decrease in October 2024 compared to October 2023, local media reported on Friday.
The CPI decrease was driven by a 0.8 percent decrease in both food and non-alcoholic beverages and non-food indices, the local media Borneo Bulletin reported.
For a month-on-month comparison, the CPI in October 2024 decreased by 0.3 percent from September 2024, according to the Department of Economic Planning and Statistics of Brunei's Ministry of Finance and Economy. ■
