BEIJING, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Samoan Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata'afa will pay an official visit to China from Nov. 20 to 28.
Born in Samoa in April 1957, Mata'afa was elected to the Parliament in 1985. She has served as minister of education, minister of women, minister of justice, deputy prime minister and minister of natural resources and environment.
She was elected the ninth prime minister of Samoa in July 2021. ■
