SINGAPORE, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- The non-oil domestic exports (NODX) in Singapore declined 4.6 percent year-on-year last month, after a 0.9 percent expansion in September, the government agency Enterprise Singapore said Monday.
The electronic NODX increased 2.6 percent year-on-year in October. Meanwhile, non-electronic NODX declined 6.7 percent due to a contraction in specialized machinery, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemicals.
NODX to Singapore's top markets as a whole declined last month. Singapore's total trade also decreased 2 percent year-on-year in October, following the 0.4 percent growth in September. ■
