AYBAK, Afghanistan, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Two commuters were killed and three others injured as a car turned turtle in north Afghanistan's Samangan province on Friday, Hashmatullah Rahmani, spokesman for the provincial police office confirmed to Xinhua.
The accident took place in Hazrat Sultan district Friday morning, leaving two travelers dead on the spot and injuring three others, some in critical condition, the official added.
Blaming reckless driving for the mishap, the official added that drivers' carelessness on congested roads often claims the lives of commuters.
Similarly, one commuter lost his life, and four others were injured in east Afghanistan's Parwan province on Thursday evening. ■
