SINGAPORE, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Singapore recorded 1.31 million visitor arrivals in October, up 16.7 percent year-on-year, according to the latest statistics released by the Singapore Tourism Board.
Over 367,000 visitors stayed overnight in Singapore last month, down 58.4 percent year-on-year. The overnight guests spent three days in the city-state on average, dropping 15.5 percent from last year.
The Chinese mainland continued to top Singapore's visitor sources in October, with over 234,000 travelers, followed by Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Australia. ■
