SEOUL, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's export volume grew for the 14th successive month in October due to strong demand for locally-made tech and chemical products, central bank data showed Wednesday.
Export volume index rose 5.7 percent in October from a year earlier, continuing to mount since September last year, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
In terms of volume, outbound shipment for computer, electronic and optical devices, including semiconductors, expanded 8.5 percent in October on a yearly basis, keeping an upward trend for the 15th straight month. ■
