BEIJING, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Kermadec Islands region at 0155 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.50 degrees south latitude and 176.54 degrees west longitude. ■
