GAZA, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- At least 25 Palestinians were killed by Israeli bombing of a house in the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported on Tuesday.
There are still many people missing under the rubble, WAFA said.
The Israeli army has not commented on this incident yet.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement on Tuesday that over the past day, the Israeli Air Force struck about 100 "terror" targets in Lebanon and Gaza, including weapons storage facilities, launch posts, military structures, and more.
Israel has been launching a large-scale offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip to retaliate against a Hamas rampage through the southern Israeli border on Oct. 7, 2023, during which about 1,200 people were killed and approximately 250 taken hostage.
The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks in Gaza has risen to 43,391, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement on Tuesday. ■
