BEIJING, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- The 19th China International Photographic Art Exhibition will open in Zhuhai, south China's Guangdong Province, on Nov. 2, the organizer has announced.
A total of 276 pieces secured their spots at the exhibition after being selected from more than 340,000 photos that had been collected from 123 countries and regions since July 2023, according to the China Photographers Association.
The selected photographic works focus on diverse themes and will be displayed in three categories at the exhibition, which is expected to boost China's cultural exchanges with other countries.
The first edition of the exhibition was held in 1981. ■
