BEIRUT, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) reported on Sunday that two tanks from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) destroyed the main gate of its position in southern Lebanon in the morning and "forcibly entered" the site.
"We have requested an explanation from the IDF from these shocking violations," UNIFIL said in a statement. ■
