JERUSALEM, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli military announced Monday afternoon that it has launched a new wave of airstrikes on southern suburbs of Lebanese capital Beirut.
In a statement, the military said warplanes were "currently conducting a targeted strike in the area of Dahieh, a key Hezbollah terrorist stronghold," adding that the attack was still ongoing. ■
