AYBAK, Afghanistan, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Three commuters including a woman and her child were killed and 13 others injured as a bus diverted from the road due to careless driving in northern Afghanistan's Samangan province on Tuesday, a statement from the provincial police office said Wednesday.
Blaming reckless driving for the deadly accident, the statement noted that some of the injured persons including women and children are in critical condition.
A similar road crash killed two commuters and injured three others in the eastern Khost province last week. ■
