TASHKENT, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan's delegation has delivered the country's best-ever Paralympic performance at the recently concluded Paris Paralympic Games, securing 10 gold medals.
According to Uzbek media reports on Monday, a grand ceremony was held in Tashkent to welcome the triumphant Uzbek Paralympic team, which brought home a total of 26 medals, including 10 gold, nine silver, and seven bronze medals.
This marks a significant improvement from their previous success at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, where Uzbekistan claimed 19 medals, including eight golds. ■
