"This year, we are raising the bar, pushing AI boundaries further and higher for the good of humanity," said Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, president of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in the opening remarks.

The SDAIA president said AI presents ethical dilemmas and crucial challenges threatening economic and social development internationally.
