BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Two swimmers and one athletics athlete of Brunei have departed for Paris to participate in the Olympic Games, according to local media reports.
Brunei Darussalam contingent consists of 7 members, including the Chef de Mission, a liaison officer, two coaches, and three athletes.
Awang Zeke Chan Zhi Yue and Dayang Hayley Wong Ann Yue are set to compete in the men's 100-meter backstroke and women's 100-meter breaststroke respectively. Awang Muhammad Noor Firdaus Ar-Rasyid is set to compete in the men's 100-meter sprint. ■
