VIENTIANE, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Laos launched its newly developed website for the 45th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA).
The opening ceremony held here on Monday was attended by President of the Lao National Assembly Xaysomphone Phomvihane, and representatives of relevant authorities, Lao national TV reported on Tuesday.
The 45th AIPA General Assembly will be held here on Oct. 17 to 22.
The website will enable the public to access information on the AIPA, action plans, and the progress of preparation work for the meeting. ■
