BAGHDAD, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani and Saudi Minister of Commerce Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi met here on Tuesday, exchanging views on developing bilateral ties and strengthening mutual cooperation, according to a statement issued by the prime minister's media office.
The two sides highlighted the importance of making joint efforts to ease regional tensions and crises, stop the war on Gaza as soon as possible, and open humanitarian corridors to deliver aid and relief supplies, it said.
The meeting also included discussions on coordination measures between Iraq and Saudi Arabia to hold the sixth session of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, it said. ■
