MOSCOW, March 28 (Xinhua) -- A military plane crashed into the sea near Sevastopol with no damage to civilian facilities, city Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said Thursday.
The pilot managed to eject and was picked up by rescuers near the shore, facing no threat to his life, Razvozhayev said.
As a result of the incident, maritime passenger transport has been suspended in Sevastopol, according to the local department of transportation. ■
