"I was on one of the first flights in 1994 as I started to come to Shanghai as a co-pilot... Now Shanghai is one of the most modern cities in the world," Udo Schauss, a captain of Lufthansa German airlines told Xinhua as he was with a crew celebrating the 30th anniversary of a flight route linking the Chinese coastal city and Frankfurt of Germany.
The European airways is doubling its daily Frankfurt-Shanghai flights starting from the end of March by one additional flight. That means the frequency will be back to pre-pandemic level.
