BEIRUT, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Hezbollah on Thursday denied firing missiles from Lebanon into northern Israel, Lebanese local TV channel MTV reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli news outlets reported that Palestinian factions in Lebanon might be behind the rockets fired from Lebanon, according to local TV channel LBCI.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli army shelled with heavy artillery on the outskirts of the southern Lebanese town of al-Qulayla after what the Israeli media described as "a barrage of missiles fired from Lebanon within 10 minutes at settlements and towns in northern Israel." ■
