Farmers in Huocheng County, northwest China's Xinjiang, are busy harvesting plumcots amid the harvest season.
Plumcots are stone fruits that are a plum-apricot hybrid.
Farmer Ma Tengrong owns about 800 mu (53.3 hectares) of plumcot fields, which yield 2 tonnes of plumcot per mu.
"I see a good harvest of plumcots this year, which sell at reasonable prices. After picking up the plumcots, we will deliver them via cold-chain logistics to markets in first-tier cities -- Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen," said Ma.
